So, here it is. The long awaited Mercedes W08, and we are very intrigued. It looks mean, sharp and very streamlined. The livery has been kept pretty similar, with just small changes to the side pod colours which now feature 'racing stripes'... so it immediately has 100000000hp. Obviously we are only joking, however it does attract the eye and gives a much more elegant flow, to a very aggressive looking car.

Unfortunately I don't have a degree in Aerodynamics so i can't bore you with tones of nitty gritty information, however the car being lower and wider means the car will have a lower centre of mass. Basically meaning that the car is able to corner at greater speed. The front wing has a more aggressive approach regarding how the air channels over the car. as you can see in the image above their are two extra channels for the air to pass through, where this goes, i don't know but i'm sure that the aerodynamic boffins back at Brackley know what they are doing.

As you can see they have also not added a shark tail, (or fin, or whatever it is being called today) this is interesting as all other team so far have included one. But again, we are very sure Mercedes know what they are doing.
